Week 2: He's still alive

Grant made it through his second week unscathed. Woo-hoo!

Week 2 was a lot easier than Week 1, and we can only imagine that Week 3 will be little easier than this week, so there's hope for us yet.

We're learning a lot about the little guy ...

Physical development: Put on a lot of weight in Week 2. A LOT of weight. Much to Daddy's chagrin, Grant has developed man-boobs. And he won't stop eating.

Sleep: Not so much.

Likes: Eating, getting swaddled

Hates: Diaper changes, being on his back, any activity after two minutes, fussy time in the evening

Nicknames: Roto-rooter, Fussy Monkey, Stinky, Piggy

Status of parents: Daddy went back to work, Mommy longs to go back to work, both parents getting a little more sleep

Major accomplishments in Week 2:

- Lost his belly button
- Penis is healing (and looks great!)
- Can sleep unswaddled for short periods
- Has some periods of "alert wakefulness" (translation: he's up, but he's quiet)
